Admissions

Although we are an Academy, Cloughwood follows Cheshire West and Chester Council’s admissions procedures for children with special educational needs. Children who are under consideration for admission are discussed by the Area Admissions Panel and a place at Cloughwood may be recommended.

Parents are welcome to visit Cloughwood at any stage in the process of developing an Educational Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and should state, in writing, to the Special Educational Needs (SEN) Assessment & Monitoring team if they wish their child to be offered a place at Cloughwood.

Contact the SEN Team on:

We also admit pupils from other placing authorities.

Admissions are generally in September but can occur at any time throughout the year, providing there is a vacancy.
