School Meals

All pupils will be offered free toast and a hot drink when they arrive in the morning.

We also offer free fresh fruit during the morning break.

We are incredibly fortunate at Cloughwood Academy to have our school meals freshly prepared and cooked on-site.

Having an in-house school meal service not only allows us to provide a high-quality meal for our pupils, but also provides the necessary facility for the catering team to deliver higher level courses in the Sixth Form.

The cost of a school meal is £2.30 for primary pupils and £2.50 for secondary pupils. Parents who pay for school meals will receive an SMS message at the end of each week, confirming the outstanding balance. This can be paid in cash to the school office or by BACS.

Pupils can decide on a daily basis whether they would like a school meal or to bring in a packed lunch from home.  If your child would like to bring a packed lunch, we ask that it does not contain nuts, chocolate, sweets or fizzy drinks.

Free School Meals

Schools receive a Pupil Premium allocation for all students registered for free school meals.  This additional funding significantly contributes to improving standards and outcomes for all pupils at Cloughwood Academy.
