Cloughwood is a day and residential school for boys aged 8 to 18. Our school is situated in a beautiful setting and pupils enjoy a wide range of curriculum and learning outside of the classroom opportunities. The achievement of our pupils is improving year on year and all pupils are expected to participate and succeed in GCSEs, BTEC and CACHE courses before moving on to college or the workplace.
Currently we have 60 places from Year 4 to Year 11, and at the time of writing (December 2018) we have 66 on roll. Our pupils have a range of needs, most of which can be described as Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH). Our Primary department opened in September 2013 and owing to its huge success we have now established an extended and much improved Primary department including 2 classes, split by age and ability.
Cloughwood is a non-excluding school with a team of committed, dedicated and hardworking staff who strive to maximise the learning potential of all our pupils. Cloughwood is a safe school and we take care to safeguard the health, safety and well-being of everybody who studies and works here.
