The Oak National Academy
We wanted to let you know about the launch of Oak National Academy, which launched online this week.
It is a new online classroom and resource hub that has been created in response to the coronavirus crisis. It provides a sequenced plan of video lessons and curricular resources for teachers and parents.
This has all happened rapidly. It’s been created in under two weeks by a group of teachers and volunteers. 40 teachers from a range of schools and school trusts have come together to produce over 180 online lessons for each week that most pupils are not in schools. It covers core subjects from Maths and English, to Art and Languages for children from reception through to year 10.
We hope you’ll find it a useful resource in these challenging times. The site can be accessed at https://thenational.academy
