Residential students are free to choose which activities they would like to be involved in during their stay. Activities include sailing at Budworth Mere, outdoor swimming at Marbury Park (in the summer – indoors during the cold Winter months!), skateparks, cycling, cinema / ten pin bowling visits, Cooking Club, Slack-lining, football, volleyball, Quick cricket, film nights and trips out to the beach and Cheshire Oaks.
The pupils enjoy socialising in the relaxed atmosphere of the residence and report that they thoroughly enjoy the range of activities available, especially cycling, football, and the independence offered to them by the care team. Comments from the boys include “the staff are getting us ready for the big world out there” and “the staff trust us and we don’t want to let them or ourselves down”.
Urban Air, Winsford

Starting in January 2017, once a week the boys will be taken to Urban Air trampoline park to take part in structured but fun trampolining sessions! With activities suitable for all ages, pupils will learn trampolining techniques, improve their co-ordination and have the chance to earn certificates and badges.
'Boneyard' skate park

The skate park in Tattenhall is a not-for-profit venture which our year 6 and 7 pupils visited with their own scooters and BMX bikes.
Local parks and gardens

Students frequently visit local parks and gardens to enjoy the outdoors during good weather and use the play equipment and skate ramps and BMX facilities. Locations include Crewe Skate Park, Delamere Forest, Walton Gardens in Warrington and Queens Park in Crewe.
North West Face indoor climbing centre

The centre features over 14,000 sq.ft of climbing including a 50ft lead wall with 24 lines and over 80 routes. It caters for all ages and abilities, from novice through to experienced climbers.
Sailing at Budworth Mere

During the summer term, staff take both Primary and Secondary students sailing on Budworth Mere on a Thursday afternoon. The group is taught the “RYA OnBoard Programme” by qualified instructors from the sailing club. Students learn how to build their confidence on the water as well as acquiring basic boat skills.
Marbury swimming pool

For many years the school have worked closely with Marbury Park outdoor swimming pool. In the warmer, summer months, the longer evenings mean the boys can enjoy cooling off in the water after a hard day at school.
