Primary visit the Imperial War Museum North
Pupils from our Primary classes were treated to a grand day out at Manchester Imperial War Museum earlier this week.
To embed their learning about World War II, pupils from Years 4, 5 and 6 spent the day learning about the technologies of war with life-sized tanks and planes, about incidents such as air raids and using gas masks, and reinforcing their knowledge of Nazi occupied Germany using the interactive exhibits.
The students had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed their day out as a group. Some of the comments afterwards included “I loved it!” “It was great because we saw some tanks” and “I liked it all!”
