Duke of Edinburgh pupils go back to basics

The new school term has started with a bang for our Duke of Edinburgh students with the help of the favourable September weather. In their latest sessions, Year 11 pupils have been focusing on survival skills in Delamere Forest with students learning shelter building, fire building and navigation skills under the close supervision of our Motivational and Outdoor Learning Instructors (MOLIs).

The Duke of Edinburgh programme offers Year 11 students a chance to experience learning and development outside of the typical classroom environment, as well as providing recognition for these achievements.
